- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm and intrusion systems
- Identify and resolve wiring, device, and communication issues
- Perform system testing, programming adjustments, and upgrades
- Install or replace system components as needed
- Respond to service calls and system alerts in a timely manner
- Conduct preventative maintenance, including battery replacements
- Accurately document service activity, materials, and findings
- Provide professional, customer-focused service in the field
- Proven experience servicing fire alarm and/or security systems
- NICET Certification (required)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of system wiring, devices, and programming
- Clear communication and solid documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical field work
