Responsibilities

• Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular patrols to ensure physical security across all areas.
• Control access points utilizing access control systems, verifying identities, and performing background checks when necessary.
• Respond promptly to emergencies by following established procedures for fire safety, medical incidents, or security breaches.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches for record-keeping and future reference.
• Handle conflict de-escalation techniques to manage disputes calmly and professionally while maintaining safety for all parties involved.
• Operate firearms and non-lethal weapons such as Tasers safely and responsibly in accordance with legal regulations.
• Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when required for equipment or securing areas.
• Conduct routine surveillance activities using CCTV cameras and other security technology to detect potential threats or unauthorized access.
• Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations or when executing search warrants and background checks.
• Support emergency response procedures including CPR, AED operation, first aid administration, and fire safety protocols to ensure immediate care when needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields demonstrating strong physical security skills.
• Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and emergency response procedures.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and access control systems; familiarity with loss prevention techniques is a plus.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Excellent incident report writing skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation of events.
• Strong conflict management abilities with experience in conflict de-escalation techniques.
• Physical fitness capable of performing patrolling duties that may include heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking.
• Familiarity with legal regulations governing firearm handling, security protocols, and compliance standards.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with visitors or staff members.
