- Set up and operate manual screen printing presses for multi-color jobs.
- Align screens, set squeegees, and mix inks to match job specifications.
- Inspect garments and prints for quality assurance throughout the production process.
- Load and unload garments onto the press consistently and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of jobs completed and materials used.
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of press and work area.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure workflow and deadlines are met.
- Troubleshoot printing issues including registration, ink consistency, and press alignment.
- Assist in reclaiming screens, coating, burning, and other pre-press or post-press tasks as needed.
- Proven experience as a manual screen printing press operator (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
- Strong understanding of screen printing processes, inks, and garment types.
- Familiarity with plastisol and water-based inks.
- Experience with different garment types (cotton, blends, synthetics).
- Basic understanding of color theory and Pantone matching.
- Cross-training in prepress (screen coating/exposure) or postpress (curing, folding, packing) is a plus.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent
