As an embroidery machine operator you are responsible for the everyday production of orders. These orders may come with must ship status and you are the champion of the completion of the production requirements in a timely manner. - Communicate effectively with supervisors to obtain job status and also communicate any issues/errors
- Proof all jobs with Supervisors before running the job

As an embroidery operator, your duties are to calibrate and control the embroidering machine settings or to oversee sewing embroidery by hand when the job requires it, also ensuring that the embroidery machine is maintained and that you address all minor repairs or inform your supervisor when a persistent issue occurs. Other responsibilities include:
- Order completion
- One will need to follow a set schedule in our internal platform to complete the jobs in the time requested with the guidance of the supervisor and/or manager. One should also read the order to determine the type and location, thread color, fabric, etc.
- You will be expected to load, unload, and register all jobs per day
- Proof all jobs with the Supervisor and lead of the department
- You need to be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and acting in a proactive manner
- Communication
- Communicate effectively with staff members to obtain job status and quality of work.
- Report all issues/errors to the Supervisor.
- Cleanliness
- Must make sure the workstation is clean and organized every day.
- Clean and grease press accordingly
- Maintenance of the machines when necessary
- Supplies
- Selects needle, thread, and thread color and threads it through machine guides and bobbin
- If any supplies are missing, make a list and notify the supervisor or manager
- Quality Control
- Eye for quality control in every design. Especially with jump stitches.
- Observe sewing operations to detect defects in stitching that indicate machine malfunction and correct problems encountered.
- Repairs defective embroidery or fills in the blanks left by the embroidery machine.
- Onsite training on specific and exclusive client orders
- Joining the best Merch team out there
- Cross training on other departments when the necessity arises
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of management
- Possessing organizational skills and ability to administer project and time management
- Experience with MAC computer system
- TAJIMA machine knowledge
- Experience in the Merchandising world is a plus
