Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Systems Administrator (Onsite Support). The work will be done onsite full-time based out of Boonville, MO, with regular travel to West Plains, MO (1–2 times per week; mileage and travel time reimbursed). This is a 12-month long-term position that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is up to $44/hr full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay).
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Systems Administrator to provide hands-on technical support and network administration within a manufacturing environment. This role will serve as the first line of support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring users remain productive and connected. The position involves troubleshooting, maintaining IT infrastructure, and supporting both office and shop floor systems. This is a highly interactive role requiring strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide Level 1 support for LAN/WLAN networks, hardware, and software issues
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and connectivity issues
• Perform system updates, including Windows patches and antivirus maintenance
• Support data backup and disaster recovery processes
• Administer firewall access and assist with basic cybersecurity practices
• Track and manage support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and SLA adherence
• Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and engineering staff to resolve issues
• Support shop floor systems, machine connectivity, and digital display technologies
Required Qualifications
• 2–4 years of experience in systems administration, IT support, or network support
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of networking (LAN/WLAN, connectivity troubleshooting)
• Experience with hardware/software troubleshooting and system support
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between sites
Preferred Qualifications
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Familiarity with firewall administration and basic cybersecurity practices
• Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management tools
