Database Analyst/Programmer 3

Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Database Analyst/Programmer 3. This is a hybrid position, with Peoria, IL preferred, but candidates may also work from the Chicago, IL or Broomfield, CO offices. The position currently requires a couple of days per week in the office, with the possibility of transitioning to full return-to-office in the future. This is a 12-month position that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is $62/hr full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay).

Job Summary

The Database Analyst/Programmer 3 will join a small, collaborative team supporting internal business needs. The team currently consists of three members who work closely with an additional team member and other internal employees. This position is being added as new headcount and requires an experienced professional who can contribute effectively in a hybrid office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support database analysis and programming activities within the assigned team.
• Collaborate closely with a small team and internal business stakeholders.
• Analyze technical and business requirements and support database-related solutions.
• Participate in ongoing development, troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support activities as assigned.
• Work effectively within a hybrid environment and maintain availability for up to 25% travel, if required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a database analyst/programming capacity.
• No college degree is required if the candidate meets the experience requirement.
• Ability to work onsite several days per week, with flexibility to transition to full-time onsite work in the future.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with internal team members and stakeholders.
• Candidates should demonstrate stable employment history; consistent job hopping or choppy tenure may be considered a red flag.

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates already local to Peoria, IL, Chicago, IL, or Broomfield, CO are strongly preferred.
• Non-local candidates may be considered if they are willing to relocate at their own expense and be onsite from Day 1.
• Experience working within a collaborative enterprise or large-scale business environment.
• Candidates with advanced degrees and 10 years of relevant experience may be considered but should be comfortable with the level and scope of this position.
