Job Description Summary
This is a recruitment for a short-term/temporary position. This recruitment will be open until the positions are filled.
Under minimal supervision, develop, market, and implement creative and engaging material for Community Programs' fee-based College for Kids program. Ensure that activities are safely and appropriately implemented for youth in an organized and professional manner.
Essential Functions & Qualifications
Required:
• Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of College for Kids students
Desirable:
• Teaching and/or work experience in the discipline;
• Experience working with youth in a camp, daycare, or other educational setting.
Additional Information
This is a short-term/temporary position. Students currently enrolled at Cuesta College will be given priority.
Applications and course proposals will be reviewed until the course schedule is set.
Placement as an Aide I, II, III, IV, or V will be based on experience in the College for Kids program and/or other comparable work experience.
Selected candidates will be required to attend a mandatory in-person New Hire Orientation on June 1st from 5:00-6:30 p.m.
Zoom accommodations may be made at the coordinator's discretion. College for Kids Program dates: Monday through Thursday, June 8 - July 17, 2026
