What are the responsibilities and job description for the College for Kids Classroom Facilitator I, II, III (Short Term/Temporary) position at Cuesta College (CA)?
This is a recruitment for a short-term/temporary position. This recruitment will be open until the positions are filled.
Under minimal supervision, develop, market, and implement creative and engaging material for Community Programs' fee-based College for Kids program. Ensure that activities are safely and appropriately implemented for youth in an organized and professional manner.Required:
Placement as a Classroom Facilitator I, II, or III will be based on experience in the College for Kids program and/or other comparable work experience. This assignment has no guaranteed pay or hours and will start only after hiring and course enrollment requirements are met.
Selected candidates will be required to attend a mandatory in-person New Hire Orientation on June 1st from 5:00–6:30 p.m. Zoom accommodations may be made at the coordinator’s discretion.
College for Kids Program dates: Monday through Thursday, June 8 – July 16, 2026

- Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of College for Kids students
- Teaching and/or work experience in the discipline;
- Experience working with youth in a camp, daycare, or other educational setting.
This is a short-term/temporary position. Students currently enrolled at Cuesta College will be given priority.
