Contract Duration: 24 Months Contract with possibility of Extension
Shift Structure: First Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Flexible daytime start), Monday through Friday
Pay Rate: $48.00 - $53.00/hr on W2

Job Description: Our client is a Fortune 100 global leader in precision technology and heavy equipment manufacturing, is seeking two Network Infrastructure & Security Analysts to join their Global Infrastructure team in Moline, IL. In this role supporting the high-impact enterprise "No Asset Left Behind" (NALB) Program, you will execute network infrastructure changes and security configurations across enterprise LAN/WAN environments worldwide. You will implement routing protocols (OSPF), enable network management protocols (SNMP), configure enterprise switches, manage network firewalls, and collaborate with cyber security teams to safeguard enterprise network assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Global Network Configuration: Implement, test, and deploy LAN/WAN infrastructure changes across global enterprise sites, including switch provisioning and port configurations.
- Routing & Management Protocols: Configure and maintain routing protocols (specifically OSPF) and enable network telemetry and asset visibility using SNMP.
- Firewall Configuration & Management: Configure, maintain, and audit enterprise network firewalls to enforce access control lists (ACLs) and security segmentation policies.
- Infrastructure Security Auditing: Support the NALB program by validating unmanaged or legacy network assets, analyzing access patterns, and ensuring network compliance with enterprise cyber security standards.
- Fault Isolation & Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing anomalies, and hardware issues across distributed environments to ensure maximum uptime.
- Agile Collaboration: Operate within an Agile team environment, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and coordinating change tickets.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 2 years of hands-on experience in LAN/WAN network administration, network infrastructure implementation, or network security.
- Routing & Protocols: Direct experience configuring and troubleshooting OSPF and enabling SNMP for network monitoring.
- Switching & Hardware: Hands-on experience with enterprise switch configuration, VLAN provisioning, and port security.
- Network Firewalls: Practical experience with the configuration, rule administration, and management of enterprise firewalls.
- Work Authorization: Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Stand-Out Skills (Preferred):
- Active networking or security certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network , Security , or JNCIA).
- Experience working in large-scale, multi-site global enterprise networks.
- Familiarity with Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS) and network vulnerability management tools.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.
