Job Summary: | This full-time position is located at the University of Colorado, School of Medicine (SOM), in the Academy of Medical Educators (AME), Office of Medical Education (OME). The AME engages and supports its 400 members and the SOM's 6000 faculty through the development and delivery of professional development programs, awards opportunities, and community-building events.
The purpose of this position is to independently oversee the day-to-day operations and support the design, development and implementation of Academy of Medical Educators (AME) initiatives, including but not limited to the Scholarship in Education & Innovation (ScEI) Club, 18-month Teaching Scholars Program (TSP), bi-annual 3-week Residents and Fellows as Educators Elective, iTeach peer observation program, FacDev 2 U program, FacDev in 5 on-demand video series, and Spark Tank Med Ed Pitch Event & awards program. This role will provide professional, full cycle event planning and logistical support to AME programs, including monthly in-person workshops, monthly Education Grand Rounds series, quarterly networking event, annual Education & Innovation Symposium, annual new member induction ceremony, Faculty Travel Awards, and the Rymer Innovation Awards.
The AME Coordinator will support marketing, communications and outreach through the Academy Connections newsletter and annual membership survey. This role will also be responsible for managing data for the various programs to inform development of new programming, ensure continuous quality improvement, and contribute to scholarly efforts.

Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $52,961 - $70,968. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
