CU*Answers is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused PC Technician Intern to support our organization’s ongoing configuration, deployment, tracking, and return of client workstations. This temporary role offers hands-on experience in desktop support, hardware setup, and IT operations while working with both internal teams and external clients.

*This is a temp position lasting up to 6 months. Up to 12 months if actively enrolled in school full-time. 


What You’ll Do

· Install and configure software on new PCs

· Set up PC hardware for internal users

· Configure CU*Base Update Appliances

· Transport IT equipment between CU*Answers office locations

· Track, document, and manage equipment in motion

· Perform basic hardware and software troubleshooting

· Securely erase data from PCs

· Review documentation checklists and assist with process improvements

· Perform additional duties as assigned


What You Bring

· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience

· 1–2 years of prior office or IT-related experience preferred

· Working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work with both internal teams and external clients

· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data appropriately

· Reliable attendance and punctuality

Some job assignments at CU*Answers are primarily conducted within the office building(s) while others have moderate to extensive travel responsibilities as described in the Job Functions and/or Job Qualifications section(s) above.
