1st Class Pipefitter

CTR Group is seeking 1st Class Pipefitters for a Shipyard in the Pascagoula, MS area. Former or Recent Navy, especially Hull Technicians ideal! Pay Rate: $48 per Hour plus Benefits Plus $180 Per Diem for Non-Local Candidates!! REQUIREMENTS:Must demonstrate an acceptable proficiency and competency for an A-Class Pipefitters position.Must demonstrate ability to interpret and work from construction drawings, job specifications, instruction manuals, manufacturer’s handbooks, change order, and contract specifications.Pass the “A” Class pipe fitters tests; written with a minimum score of 70% and practical with a minimum score of 90%.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and measure using the metric system.Must be able to follow directions and work with limited supervision. Must be willing to develop other team members skill levels.must have working knowledge of procedures, strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow directions.must possess experience in the trade, knowledge of ship terminology, ability to interpret engineering drawings.must demonstrate ability to interpret job specifications and perform work on marine vessels.must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Must be able to tour all vessels and work sites.CTR Group has been a leader in its industry for over 30 years and is rated highly on Google, Indeed and Facebook for being a great company to work for.
