All About Labor is hiring experienced Pipefitters for a long-term shipyard opportunity in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
Pay: $52.00/hour
Per Diem: $180/day for eligible travelers
Bonus: $500 sign-on bonus after 120 hours
Position Summary
Pipefitters will fabricate, assemble, install, and repair piping systems in an active shipyard environment. Candidates must be experienced with pipe layout, measurements, fabrication, and installation and be able to successfully complete a hands-on Pipefitter assessment.
Responsibilities & Experience
- Minimum 4 years of professional pipefitting experience
- Read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings
- Measure, cut, prep, and fit pipe
- Calculate offsets, takeoffs, and pipe measurements
- Install pipe, fittings, valves, flanges, supports, and hangers
- Perform pipe fabrication, fit-up, and alignment
- Work with carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems
- Properly use pipefitting hand and power tools
- Follow all shipyard safety and quality procedures
- Work safely in confined spaces and around active shipbuilding operations
Requirements
- 4 years professional Pipefitter experience
- Must pass a hands-on Pipefitter test
- Must pass a hair follicle drug screen
- Must pass a 10-year background check with no felonies
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Must be willing to work in Pascagoula, MS
- Per diem candidates must live 75 miles away and provide qualifying residency documentation
