Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Work hours: Mon - Friday 8 am - 5pm (1 hour unpaid lunch and 2 - 10 minute paid breaks)
Start date: ASAP

Summary: Interviews customers and records interview information into computer for customer service by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Processes orders via phone or paper purchase order.
- Answers all incoming Customer Service calls and routes to the appropriate personnel.
- Processes back orders.
- Communicates consistently with customer on the status of orders.
- Prepares custom paperwork for international shipments.
- Invoices customer orders.
- Tracks customer shipments.
- Files orders in customer files.
- Assists with customer mailings.

Specific Skills Needed:
- Reliable transportation (we do not have a bus route or near public transportation)
- Previous Customer Service Experience
- Experience taking orders via phone and email

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interestcommissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; SIGHT Program and Microsoft Access.
