What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead BCBA for Multidisciplinary Clinic position at CST Academy?
CST Academy is looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to step into a Lead BCBA role at our Gurnee clinic.
This is an exciting opportunity for a BCBA who is passionate about clinical leadership and mentorship, in addition to continuing hands-on work with children and families.
We are looking for a Lead BCBA to maintain a reduced caseload while serving as a clinical resource and mentor for the BCBA team at their site, collaborating closely with ABA Directors to keep the team supported and connected.
You will have the opportunity to shape the day-to-day experience of your site's BCBA team, from in-the-moment clinical problem solving to building out onboarding resources, continuing education opportunities, and team culture. As a Lead BCBA, you'll have real opportunities to grow professionally as a clinical leader at CST Academy. This role can grow into an ABA Clinical Director position.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst® in good standing
- At least 2 years experience as a BCBA (preferred)
- Experience supervising a graduate student (preferred)
- A calm, even-tempered approach to conflict, unexpected events, and clinical decision-making under pressure
- Strong judgment around when to act independently, when to collaborate, and when to seek counsel from leadership

Position responsibilities:
- Maintain a caseload while modeling clinical excellence
- Provide in-the-moment clinical support and problem solving for BCBAs on-site
- Collaborate consistently with company directors documenting support provided to the BCBA team
- Complete quarterly rubrics and check-ins for BCBAs at your site
- Mentor newly hired BCBAs and supervise graduate students
- Bring ideas for CE opportunities, resources, social events, and system/handbook updates to support the BCBA team
- Participate in biweekly meetings with ABA Directors and monthly Lead BCBA Team meetings

Pay: $78,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
