Key Responsibilities of the Salesforce Functional Architect:
- Translate financial business needs into structured Salesforce requirements and solution strategies, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment with Financial Services Cloud.
- Architect and configure multi-cloud Salesforce capabilities—including automation, integrations, and data models—to support wealth management, onboarding, compliance, and client lifecycle workflows.
- Develop functional documentation, workflows, and user resources that support project delivery, organizational adoption, and system governance.
- Partner with project teams to conduct testing, validate data migration activities, and resolve functional issues to maintain performance and compliance standards.
- Enable end-users through training, guidance, and ongoing support while driving continuous improvements based on platform releases and industry best practices.
- Extensive experience (8 years) working within the Salesforce ecosystem, with several years focused on Financial Services Cloud.
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration tools (Flows, Process Builder, multi-cloud capabilities) and the ability to design scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical teams.
- Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning and backlog management.
- Salesforce certifications are highly valued, particularly in administration, app building, Sales/Service Cloud, development, data architecture, and Financial Services Cloud.
