Key Responsibilities of the Java Technical Lead:
- Lead Full-Cycle Development: Oversee the end-to-end design and implementation of scalable enterprise applications, ensuring solutions align with technical strategy and business goals.
- Architect Cloud-Based Solutions: Develop secure, high-performing architectures leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
- Mentor and Guide Developers: Provide hands-on leadership through code reviews, technical coaching, and fostering a culture of quality and innovation within the development team.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with product owners, analysts, and architects to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver robust, user-focused applications.
- Advance DevOps Practices: Champion continuous integration, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) to streamline delivery and improve reliability.
- 7 years of professional Java development experience (Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs).
- Proven track record of leading software development teams and mentoring engineers.
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud technologies including API Gateway, ECS/Fargate, and Terraform.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as AngularJS and proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with containerization and CI/CD tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or GitLab CI).
- Background with relational and NoSQL databases (RDS, DynamoDB).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: AWS certifications, experience with Kafka or modern front-end frameworks (React/Angular).
