Position Overview
The Construction Manager serves as the owner’s representative, overseeing all aspects of multifamily renovation and construction projects—from scope development and budgeting to project close-out. Working closely with the National Construction Manager, you will lead collaboration among architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Position Overview
The Construction Manager serves as the owner’s representative, overseeing all aspects of multifamily renovation and construction projects—from scope development and budgeting to project close-out. Working closely with the National Construction Manager, you will lead collaboration among architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish project scopes of work and preliminary budgets based on inspections, reports, and building needs.
- Manage architects, engineers, and contractors through design, bidding, construction, and close-out.
- Identify potential construction risks early and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions
- Facilitate Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meetings and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders.
- Review drawings, scopes, submittals, schedule, and change orders for accuracy, compliance, and value.
- Monitor construction progress through site visits, punch walks, and quality control inspections.
- Review and approve monthly contractor draws and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HUD, state, accessibility, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Provide regular project updates to the National Construction Manager.
- 5 years of project management experience in multifamily or senior living construction.
- Strong knowledge of building systems (MEP, envelope, fire/life safety, accessibility, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Adobe/Bluebeam.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects across regions and travel as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 10 years of relevant construction management experience.
- Familiarity with affordable housing, HUD/state compliance and senior living projects.
- Professional certifications (CCM, PMP, LEED AP) are a plus.
- Preferred work location is Baltimore, MD, or surrounding states.
