Financial Accounting Analyst - Dallas, TX
CSI Recruiting is seeking an Accounting Analyst for a private energy and real estate company based in Dallas. The role requires an early-career experienced accounting, treasury and A/P (accounts payable) professional to join the accounting & finance team and support the treasury functions of the company and its subsidiaries. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor cash activity and balances for several companies and LLC's in the oil & gas, real estate, renewable energy and real estate industries.
- Initiate domestic and international ACH, wire, and check payments
- Initiate wire transfers and other funding necessary to balance company’s daily cash position
- Process payment runs through the accounting system and should have prior experience working in accounting systems
- Manage vendor bank account update requests, including calling vendors for verification
- Process returned bank account items and distribute to other departments
- Assist with reconciling all cash and investment accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Perform complex transactions and resolve errors
- Coordinate and troubleshoot corporate credit card accounts, cards, and issues
- Work directly with the treasury manager on other specific projects as directed
REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of two years of previous accounting and/or prior cash management experience in a professional environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar business acumen
- Bank platform experience
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Prior experience working with accounting systems preferred
- Ability to self-start and work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced work environment
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Able to complete tasks accurately and on time with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proactive problem solver
