ROLE SUMMARY
The Sr. Accounting and Financial Reporting Analyst will be an integral member of the reporting and analysis function for all SEC Reporting, in addition to accounting month-end tasks. This position will interact closely with FP&A and other leaders within the Company.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
- Prepare the Company’s SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, Proxy) and other financial reports in accordance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Function as primary liaison with other department leaders to gather documentation and support needed to prepare the financial statements and footnote disclosures for SEC filings.
- Complete disclosure checklists to ensure financial statements comply with U.S. GAAP disclosure requirements.
- Assist with technical accounting research and the preparation of accounting memos (e.g., revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, internal use software costs, etc.) to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Assist with the coordination and management of audit requests from external auditors and other third parties.
- Coordinate the XBRL tagging process performed by the Company’s external third-party vendor and review the tagging for completeness and accuracy.
- Partner with FP&A for internal reporting needs and assist with the preparation of financial reports and analyses.
- Assist with month-end accounting close functions and account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with policies and controls.
- Ad hoc projects and analyses, as needed, to support the senior and executive management teams.

ROLE COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- SEC reporting experience required; 4 years is desired
- CPA preferred
- Several years of prior financial accounting and reporting experience
- Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of SOX 404 compliance
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
