Location: Wichester, VA & the surrounding areas

Type: 100% onsite (Hospital Settings) travel to different sites

Duration: 3 - 6 month contract

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm ET

Overview

We are seeking 3 Desktop Technicians to support onsite inpatient hospital operations focused on device connectivity, testing, and troubleshooting for MyChart bedside patient engagement (Hello Care) across multiple facilities. Technicians will work within active patient care environments supporting connectivity and functionality for bedside devices across 600 patient rooms, ensuring reliable patient access and system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for bedside patient engagement devices and connectivity (Hello Care / MyChart bedside)
• Perform basic to intermediate network and device troubleshooting (wired/wireless connectivity, ports, bedside hardware issues)
• Test and validate equipment functionality in patient rooms prior to and after deployment
• Collaborate with Lead Tech and Project Manager to support daily task execution and issue resolution
• Travel between inpatient units/facilities as needed to complete assigned work
• Document issues, resolutions, and escalate complex problems appropriately
• Support large-scale room-by-room walkthroughs and validation efforts

Requirements

• 2–5 years of desktop support or field technician experience preferred
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP connectivity, ports, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, device handshakes)
• Experience working in hospital or clinical environments strongly preferred
• Strong self-starter able to work independently in active inpatient settings
• Reliable transportation required for travel between multiple onsite locations
• Ability to follow structured workflows in a high-volume deployment environment
