What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Intern position at CSC?
Key Accountabilities:
1. Transfer Pricing Compliance & Documentation
- Assist with preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation (Local Files, benchmarking support, and intercompany agreement support).
- Support data gathering and coordinate with global stakeholders to enable TP compliance.
2. Financial Analysis & Reconciliations
- Perform intercompany account analysis and reconciliations (management fees, service charges, cost allocations, and markups).
- Assist with reviewing trial balances, general ledger data, and financial statements for TP purposes.
3. Reporting & Review Support
- Support preparation of periodic reports, trackers, and internal summaries for TP reviews.
- Assist senior team members during internal and external audits by preparing supporting schedules and providing explanations.
4. Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with internal finance, tax, and accounting teams to resolve data gaps or inconsistencies.
- Support follow-ups and coordination with global teams and external advisors, as required.
5. Process Improvement
- Assist with improving templates, trackers, and documentation processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Stakeholder management (clear updates, follow-ups, and on-time inputs)

Candidate Requirements:
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related field
CA (Inter) / CMA (Inter) / MBA (Finance) preferred
Experience:
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
1–2 years of relevant experience in transfer pricing, tax, or finance is an added advantage
Other Skills:
- Strong communication skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English
- Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
- Good understanding of financial statements, with strong analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience working with Oracle NetSuite is a plus
