We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Quality Control Inspector for our computer repair operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Performs visual mechanical inspection (VMI) of units, computer components and subcomponents
- Completes functional testing on repaired units, computer components and subcomponents
- Collects data and enters inspection results in database or software program
- Verifies documentation
- Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
- May perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 year or more of experience in a quality role, preferably in an electronics environment
- Intermediate English abilities required
- Basic familiarity with computer use required
- Email and written messaging with basic Excel knowledge
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
- Ability to follow documented procedures and standards
- Excellent time-management skills
- Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting and twisting
- Occasional stooping, crouching, or crawling
- Frequent pushing/pulling up to 20 lbs.
- Occasional lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs.
