We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Process Engineering Technician 2.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assists engineers with validating current processes and new process implementations with the use of time studies, process flows and other tools
• Collects data and assists with data analysis
• Resolves engineering tickets which may include computer parts, subcomponents or testing
• Implements/adjusts process layouts
• Supports senior process engineers with new product introduction readiness and training
• Practices 5S and lean methodologies and provides specialist technical input into team project work
• Assists with creating a culture to support lean methodologies and 5S
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
• May assist with communication for new processes
• May perform other duties as assigned
  
  

Skills, Education and Training

• Associates degree in relevant field or course work equivalent towards B.S. in engineering/related field preferred
• 1 year or more experience within relevant field
• Troubleshooting and diagnostics experience of computer parts/components and networks preferred
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
• Email and written messaging with intermediate Excel knowledge
• Proficient English abilities required
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with general supervision
  
  

Working Conditions And Essential Abilities & Functions

• Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
• Use of small hand tools
• Frequent standing, walking and sitting
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
