Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle (cradle-to-grave) brokerage operations, including sales, carrier procurement, freight tracking, and customer service.
- Leverage your existing customer relationships to generate and grow revenue.
- Source and develop new carrier relationships to ensure cost-effective, on-time deliveries.
- Maintain real-time communication with shippers and carriers to ensure top-tier service.
- Use internal TMS and CRM tools to manage loads, documentation, and communication.
- Collaborate with the team to identify market trends and help shape strategic direction.
- Uphold the company’s reputation by delivering reliable, ethical, and proactive service.
- 2 years of experience in freight brokerage (3PL preferred).
- Proven book of business with existing shipper relationships.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, including FTL, LTL, and spot market dynamics.
- Driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growing accounts and closing deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
