Break Truck Driver / Route Sales Representative
Crystal Valley Catering is hiring a dependable, customer-focused Break Truck Driver / Route Sales Representative to serve employees at local factories and businesses.
This position involves driving an established route, selling fresh meals, snacks, and beverages from one of our mobile break trucks, handling customer transactions, and keeping the truck clean, organized, and fully stocked. This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, building relationships with regular customers, and staying active throughout the workday.
Compensation
- Starting pay:
- Schedule: M-F 4:30am- 2 pm at the latest
- Full-time position
- $30-$40,000/yr with hourly wage, sales commission, & bonus.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company break truck on an assigned route
- Arrive at scheduled customer locations on time
- Sell meals, sandwiches, snacks, beverages, and other products
- Provide friendly and professional service to customers
- Accurately process cash, card, and point-of-sale transactions
- Stock and organize the truck before and during the route
- Help in kitchen or around shop if needed
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and presentable truck
- Complete required daily paperwork and sales reconciliation
- Follow food-safety, driving, and company policies
- Communicate route issues, customer requests, and mechanical concerns to management
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Acceptable driving record
- Dependable transportation to and from work
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with customers
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Basic mental math and cash-handling skills
- Able to learn a point-of-sale system
- Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Able to stand, bend, reach, and move products throughout the shift
- Previous delivery, route sales, food-service, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful but not required

Work Environment
This position requires driving in changing weather conditions and entering industrial or manufacturing properties. Have to be okay handling food and being willing to help in the kitchen before leaving on route if needed. Drivers must follow customer-site safety requirements and maintain a clean and professional appearance.
