Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team at Crystal Steel Fabricators, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for welding and fitting various steel components, ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our projects across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fitting tasks on various steel components using techniques such as Mig Welding
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate components accurately.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards during all fabrication processes.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely to move materials as needed.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or similar role in the steel fabrication industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Experience operating forklifts and other relevant machinery safely.
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to welding is preferred.
