What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder position at Crystal Steel Fabricators, Inc.?
Crystal Metalworks, a division of Crystal Steel Fabricators, has openings for welders in our Hatfield, Pennsylvania shop. Responsibilities of this position include:
- MIG and flux core welding
- Reading shop drawings
- Other work, which may be assigned by Crystal Steel management
- Must have the physical ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds up to 20% of the day.
- Must have the physical ability to carry hand tools and items weighing up to 20 pounds up to 95% of the day.
- Must have the physical ability to bend and stoop under obstacles as low as 3 feet up to 20% of the day.
- Must have the physical ability to climb over obstacles 2’ high up to up to 20% of the day.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk from location to location up to 95% of the day.
- Must be able to work in hot and cold environments.
- Experience welding miscellaneous (stairs, railings, etc.) and ornamentals metals is a huge advantage!
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of MIG and flux core welding experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
