Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM (flexibility during payroll cycles)

Pay: $50,000-$60,000 annually, depending on experience

What You'll Do

This role focuses on learning and supporting the full payroll process while building a strong accounting foundation. You will assist with weekly payroll processing, review timekeeping for accuracy, and help with payroll reconciliations and PTO tracking. You will be introduced to certified payroll, prevailing wage reporting, and compliance requirements within a construction environment. In addition, you will support general ledger entries related to payroll, assist with account reconciliations, and help with month-end close and financial reporting. You will also maintain payroll and employee records, assist with audit documentation, and support day-to-day accounting operations.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
• Internship, coursework, or exposure to payroll or accounting principles preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts
• Proficiency in Excel and ability to learn accounting software (QuickBooks experience is a plus)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines, especially around payroll cycles
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
