About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced, hands‑on leader to guide daily production activities in our fabrication department. This role is ideal for someone who has operated fabrication machinery, understands production workflows, and knows how to motivate and support a team. You’ll work closely with the Production Supervisor to keep schedules on track, maintain quality standards, and ensure a safe, positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities

Direct daily workflow to meet production schedules, maintain quality standards, and ensure safe operations; report any deviations promptly.

Train new employees, answer questions, support team needs, and adjust leadership style to maintain a productive, respectful work environment.

Operate fabrication equipment, small hand tools, and measuring devices while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Communicate clearly with team members to ensure understanding of customer specifications, work instructions, and company policies.

Collaborate with the Production Supervisor on scheduling priorities, quality concerns, process improvements, and employee performance feedback.

Participate in continuous improvement efforts, support company objectives, and promote a positive, team‑oriented culture.
Qualifications

3–5 years of leadership experience required; experience leading in a production or fabrication environment strongly preferred.

Experience operating fabrication machinery or similar production equipment.

Strong understanding of production, quality, and safety processes.

Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to handle sensitive situations professionally.

Previous painting or finishing experience is a plus.
