What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Assistant - Night Shift position at CRYSTAL CLINIC ORTHOPEDIC CENT?
The Essentials:
- Schedule: Part-Time (24 hours/week) | 2x 12-hour shifts Night Shift | 7PM – 7:30AM
- Location: Fairlawn, OH
- Specialties: Post-Surgical Inpatient, Orthopedics
What You’ll Do:
- Performs patient care support tasks related to environmental services, dietary needs, transportation, supplies, and light maintenance activities.
- Supports the patient care team by providing direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, as well as administrative and clerical assistance.
- Incorporates hourly rounding into routine patient care; records patient charges accurately and on time as outlined in the procedural manual; and assists team members by answering phones and completing other clerical tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: High School diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of patient care experience preferred.
- Skills: Must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal; must be organized and detail oriented and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- License/Certifications: BLS required within 3 months of hire.
