Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide quality patient care, implement treatment plans, document patient progress, and contribute to positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Maintain patient safety and follow all regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Assist with accurate billing and charge entry
- Meet established productivity standards
- Participate in training, in-services, and continuing education opportunities
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current PTA license in good standing
- Ability to practice without restrictions
- Knowledge of Medicare and other insurance payer sources preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
