Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-Time Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and proficiency in arc welding techniques and demonstrate strong capabilities in equipment maintenance and repair. This position plays a critical role in our production operations, ensuring the highest quality standards in all welding projects while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

As a Full-Time Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, performing various welding operations, conducting routine maintenance on welding equipment, and collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to workplace safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Welding Operations:

• Perform arc welding operations on various metals including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum using SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) techniques
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to determine specifications and procedures
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding rods, electrodes, and filler materials based on project requirements
• Execute welds in various positions including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Perform tack welding to hold parts in position for final welding
• Grind, cut, and prepare metal surfaces prior to welding operations
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used
