- Assist servers by bussing tables promptly to maintain smooth service flow and reduce wait times for guests
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, chairs, or tableware using safe lifting practices to prevent injury
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing tables between guests
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate table turnovers and special requests
- Support food handling procedures by adhering to sanitation protocols during table clearing and setup
- Help with basic catering or event setups when required, ensuring all items are correctly arranged and ready for service
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential
- Strong cleaning skills with knowledge of sanitation practices in the hospitality industry
