Key Responsibilities
- Review and execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring event details, staffing needs, and menus are clearly communicated to the team.
- Oversee banquet room setup, event service, and breakdown to ensure events meet or exceed guest expectations.
- Monitor food and beverage service to maintain quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Complete all Banquet Manager opening and closing duties, reports, and event billing accurately and promptly.
Qualifications
- A degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or equivalent experience in banquet operations is preferred.
- Five years of supervisory experience in the hotel and/or food service industry is required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Current TIPS certification or a comparable hospitality industry certification, or the ability to obtain certification within six months of employment.
- Verifiable professional references demonstrating leadership, reliability, and a commitment to guest service.
