- Previous maintenance experience required; healthcare maintenance experience preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, painting, carpentry, and general repairs
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be dependable and maintain excellent attendance
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed
- Must successfully complete required background checks and drug screening
- Perform routine preventative maintenance throughout the facility
- Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist with painting, repairs, and upkeep of resident rooms and common areas
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance repairs
- Ensure the facility grounds and building remain safe, clean, and well-maintained
- Assist with equipment inspections and maintenance schedules
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation to address after-hours maintenance needs
- Follow all facility safety policies and procedures
