Welding Technician – Job Details
Frankfort, KY
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
About the Role
Crown Staffing is hiring dependable and detail-oriented Welding Technicians to support manufacturing operations in Frankfort, KY. In this role, you will operate welding equipment and assist with the fabrication and assembly of axle components while ensuring quality and production standards are met.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with welding experience who enjoy hands-on manufacturing work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform bracket welding on axles and related components
- Operate robotic weld cells and welding equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
- Inspect completed welds for quality and structural integrity
- Use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers
- Assist with material handling and movement of finished products
- Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Support team operations and assist in additional production areas when needed
Requirements
- Previous welding experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and blueprints
- Must be able to pass a welding certification test prior to hire
- Ability to successfully complete a written assessment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
- High school diploma or GED preferred
