Milling & Trimming Technician – Job Details

Pay: $15.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
About the Role
Crown Staffing is hiring a detail-oriented Milling & Trimming Technician to support the production of molded urethane products in Lexington, KY. In this role, you will assist with trimming, milling, organizing materials, and maintaining production flow in a manufacturing environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and completing repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Trimming Duties
- Trim panels and parts received from Quality Control or Shipping
- Distribute flat and tension panels evenly among team members
- Organize trimmed parts by aperture or part type
- Complete assigned trimming tasks before the end of each shift
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Record trimmed quantities and submit required reports daily
Milling Duties
- Prioritize milling tasks provided by Shipping
- Record daily milling totals and complete production reports
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the milling area
General Responsibilities
- Assist with additional production tasks as assigned
- Maintain quality, accuracy, and organization throughout the production process
- Follow all company safety procedures and work instructions
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
- Ability to stand and work in a physically active environment throughout the shift
- Ability to follow written instructions and communicate effectively with team members
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
