Extraction Technician I – Job Details

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role
Crown Staffing is hiring an Extraction Technician I to support production operations in Jeffersonville, IN. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Production Supervisor, Team Leads, and Quality team to assist with extracting, blending, and processing bulk ingredients.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in all aspects of the extraction and production process
- Support the operation of processing equipment
- Monitor equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
- Collect in-process samples as required
- Record and track data for all manufacturing processes
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines
- Support inventory control and proper storage of materials
- Dispose of waste according to company and safety standards
- Assist with additional production tasks as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred
- cGMP experience is a plus
- Experience in botanical extraction, food & beverage, chemical processing, or similar environments preferred
- Basic math skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to read and follow SOPs and safety guidelines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, dependable, and accountable
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–5 years of stable work history
- Education or strong interest in chemistry, biology, food science, or related field
- Familiarity with OSHA guidelines and regulated materials
