What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving position at Crown Point Cabinetry?

As a member of the Shipping and Receiving Team, you will be responsible for handling the shipments and receiving of materials, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are handled efficiently and accurately. Your role will include some driving and delivering cabinets in a cube van and sometimes driving a 26 ft box truck throughout New England. (CDL not required). When not making deliveries, you will play a role in maintaining the flow of goods and materials within the organization, supporting operational and production needs. Including daily distribution of required materials to production teams. You will ensure that all received shipments are properly documented and organized in their designated storage areas. This role will require a forklift certification for the receiving and storage of materials.
Job Duties:
· Deliver cabinetry to job sites throughout New England
· Operate forklifts to safely move, store, and organize materials, and other inventory
· Unload and load delivery trucks
· Distribute materials to production teams
· Utilize receiving system to confirm received shipments
· Respond to inquiries regarding inventory availability and production needs
· Maintain accurate inventory records
· Track live inventory for all production materials
· Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
· Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
· Ability to drive 26ft box truck.
· Clean Driving Record
· Forklift operation experience is required; and ability to obtain certification upon hire
· Ability to multitask and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Provide excellent customer service when delivering cabinetry
