The Student Content Creator will assist the Marketing Content Coordinator in providing content revolving around ACADEMICS & ATHLETICS for social media channels in a variety of digital formats that accurately reflect Crown College.
Minimum Qualifications:
Support and Model the policies and standards of Crown College as stated in the Student Handbook and Crown Community Covenant. ,Evidence of Christian character and a commitment to encourage others toward Christ-likeness. ,Maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA. ,Must be in good standing with the college.
Responsibilities - Provide a detailed list of tasks and responsibilities.
Academic Journey - Capture classroom moments, group projects, labs, and mentorship interactions. - Document how faith and academics intersect — study groups, professors praying with students, etc. - Collaborate with faculty and Marketing to showcase academic innovation. Athletics Coverage - Attend athletic events to photograph and film gameplay, spirit, and teamwork. - Highlight leadership, perseverance, and faith through athletics. Professional Excellence - Capture student achievements, internships, and career-readiness moments. - Feature stories that embody excellence, growth, and preparation for calling. Creative Collaboration - Coordinate content plans with the Campus Experience creator to ensure balanced coverage. - Produce short videos or highlight reels for Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks., Proficiency with basic computer applications, including email and word processing., Effective verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills. Maintain confidentiality regarding private student information. Demonstrated dependability and punctuality., Ability to manage time effectively and balance multiple responsibilities., Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions., Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully as part of a team, Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to respond appropriately to unexpected situations., Professional demeanor, including appropriate appearance and conduct in the workplace. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items up to 25 lbs. for extended periods. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings or weekends as needed.
Physical Demands:
Ability to move about campus and within work areas as required., Ability to lift and carry loads of up to 4 pounds.? Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Canva, Lightroom, or mobile editing apps (CapCut, Adobe Rush, VSCO) - Prior experience in photography, social media, or creative roles - Involvement in athletics, Student Life, or creative arts at Crown
