Anticipated Start Date: September 2, 2026.
The nursing department is seeking a detail-oriented student worker to assist in preparations for nursing laboratory and simulation experiences. This position supports the nursing professor in preparing for in-person laboratory and clinical simulation experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Support and Model the policies and standards of Crown College as stated in the Student Handbook and Crown Community Covenant.
- Evidence of Christian character and a commitment to encourage others toward Christ-likeness.
- Maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
- Must be in good standing with the college.
- Previous experience with administrative work preferred.
Responsibilities - Provide a detailed list of tasks and responsibilities.
- Set up laboratory equipment in the nursing lab.
- Set up simulators, with the professor's help, for simulation experiences.
- Make copies of student materials for lab experiences.
- Support maintaining and cleaning the learning environment prior to and after the laboratory/simulation experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, including email and word processing.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
