What You'll Do:

The Assistant Terminal Manager is responsible for assisting the Terminal Manager with managing and overseeing activities relating to operations, fuel deliveries, sales, marketing, customer service, and equipment maintenance for our Palmer, AK Terminal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focus on day-to-day operations and safe execution of activities under the direction of the Terminal Manager.
• Ensure safe, reliable execution of activities that are in compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
• Manage and oversee employees’ performance.
• Manage operational excellence on a day-to-day basis.

Education & Credentials:

• Associate's degree.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Direct business experience may be substituted for degree.

Experience:

• Minimum of three years of general business experience, preferably relating to fuel sales and deliveries.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Advanced PC skills needed.
• Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and able to multitask.

Competencies:

• Demonstrate effective communication skills.
• Provide directions to staff.
• Oversee projects that may vary in nature and scope.
