What You'll Do:
The Fuel Truck Dispatcher is responsible for optimizing and scheduling delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient fuel distribution across remote communities. This role also manages administrative tasks such as recordkeeping and reporting, while serving as a point of contact for customer service issues. Dispatchers balance logistics coordination with problem-solving to keep operations running smoothly in challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and optimize delivery routes
- Record times of departure, arrivals, type of fuel loaded and/or delivered.
- Communicate with drivers and customers via phone and dispatch system.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to customers
- High School or GED.
- 3-5 years of experience as a dispatcher. Experience as a fuels dispatcher preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Dispatching systems
- Preferred- Experience with Smart Drops
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, written and verbally
- Ability to handle customer service issues
- Ability to solve problems
