We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot HVAC issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Perform equipment repairs, including refrigeration units and boilers.
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete projects efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and providing solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R systems.
- Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints related to HVAC design.
- Experience as a service technician with a focus on air conditioning and refrigeration.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems as they relate to HVAC installations.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter for troubleshooting electrical components.
- Background in appliance repair and property maintenance is advantageous.
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Welding skills may be beneficial for certain repair tasks.
- Previous experience in field service or construction is preferred.
