Crouse’s Information Technology team is hiring a Network & Data Communications Analyst. This position is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, integrity and security of the LAN/WAN infrastructure at Crouse Hospital.  Specializes in systems integration and network technologies.  Plans, develops, and implements data communications strategies.     

Pay Range: $70,000 plus based on experience and education

Available Schedule(s):

• Full-time, 8:00am-4:30pm with on-call coverage

Network & Data Communications Analyst Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the LAN/WAN infrastructure for the Crouse Hospital campus, including the wireless infrastructure.
• Configure all networking equipment such as routers and switches for efficient and secure operation.
• Implement network security measures to ensure data integrity between LAN and WAN devices.  Make recommendations and take the necessary actions to ensure data integrity on the network.
• Implement and maintain the security infrastructure for the LAN.  This includes responsibility for the creation, maintenance and confidentiality of all user id’s and passwords that are granted administrative rights on the networking devices. 

Network & Data Communications Analyst Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline and/ or acceptable equivalent combination of education, training and experience.  A professional network certification is desirable.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience with LAN/WAN design, implementation and maintenance.
• Must have in depth knowledge of networking components.
• Must be able to design and implement LAN / WAN additions and enhancements.
• Acts as liaison between Crouse Hospital and WAN providers.
• Must have in depth knowledge of TCP/IP and internetworking principles.
• Has system administration privileges on all networking devices (routers, switches, etc) and is responsible for controlling all system administration rights granted to others on these devices.
• Provides systems support off-hours as needed
