Students handle their core academic work independently through AI-powered platforms in approximately two hours each day. The remainder of their schedule is dedicated to skill-building via facilitated workshops, mentorship, and exploratory projects.
Your role will not involve scripted curriculum delivery or virtual classroom discipline. Instead, you'll facilitate dynamic online sessions designed to encourage critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and personal growth. You'll guide students through storytelling, entrepreneurial ventures, wellness practices, and problem-solving exercises—all while fostering independence, self-assurance, and strong executive function.

What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating interactive virtual workshops centered on essential life skills including communication, creativity, problem-solving, and self-management
- Providing one-on-one and small-group mentorship to cultivate student confidence, accountability, and executive functioning capabilities
- Leveraging platform analytics and behavioral indicators to tailor support and monitor individual progress consistently
- Working alongside fellow educators to design and refine project-based learning initiatives
- Establishing a supportive, energizing online environment where students feel recognized, challenged, and inspired to develop
- Instructing core academic content; adaptive AI tutors manage those subjects
- Presenting scripted lessons or operating within a conventional classroom framework
- Evaluating worksheets, assigning homework, or developing standardized lesson plans

Basic Requirements
- Available to start end of July 2026
- Valid U.S. teaching certificate from any state, or an expired certificate eligible for reinstatement, with certification transferable to Arizona
- Strong virtual presence and comfort leading students via video
- Able to work in a hybrid role in Arizona

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
