What are the responsibilities and job description for the Virtual School Director, gt.school (Remote) - $200,000/year USD position at Crossover?
Most virtual schools mistake availability for quality. They provide online coursework. They do not provide results.
GT School is constructed on a different foundation. We work with Gifted & Talented students in grades K–8 using AI-driven instruction and high-expectation mentorship. We are now expanding our virtual offering to enable families to access GT-caliber acceleration regardless of location. This position is designed to create a virtual school model that is demanding, credible, and demonstrably effective.
You will control the complete operational framework of the virtual program. This encompasses experience architecture for students, performance oversight of advisors, targeted cohort strategies, and cultivation of parent confidence. No established blueprint exists. You will conduct system analyses, execute rapid iterations, participate directly in live instruction when necessary, and establish the protocols that make 3× learning gains sustainable.
This is a creation role for someone who values measurement. Retention rates, acceleration metrics, parent trust levels, and observable student achievements define success. If you seek independence, challenge, and transparent accountability, this is your opportunity.
What You Will Be Doing
Design and manage a scalable virtual school system that reliably produces 3× learning outcomes, builds parent confidence, and sustains enrollment through transparent, recognized student achievement.
Basic Requirements
GT School is revolutionizing education with AI, expert coaching, and 50 years of learning science. They blend cutting-edge tech with data-driven insights to unlock every student's full potential.
They're on a mission to disrupt the broken education system and unleash the true potential of gifted minds. Forget the one-size-fits-all approach that leaves brilliant students bored and disengaged.
This school has tossed the rulebook and created a modern learning environment powered by AI and guided by dedicated mentors. Their personalized approach accelerates learning - 2-6 times faster than traditional classrooms.
GT School students explore their passions, develop critical thinking skills, and learn to innovate.
Because that's where genius lies.
GT School is where gifted minds turn potential into power.
