What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Success Coach, gt.school - $150,000/year USD position at Crossover?
- In-person role based in NYC or Miami (relocation assistance available)
- $150,000 annual salary, distributed weekly
High-ability students don't require additional instruction. They require someone who has traveled the path they're on — someone whose academic background gives weight to the statement "you can do this," transforming it from motivational speech into verifiable truth. You'll spend half your time delivering one-hour life skills workshops covering public speaking, concentration, and feedback delivery. The remaining half is dedicated to coaching sessions designed to ensure every student reaches their learning objectives. Not the majority. Every single one. AI-powered applications handle the academic curriculum. Your advantage lies in narrative techniques, established frameworks, and your personal achievement history.
A standard morning begins with reviewing Coachbot data to identify students requiring intervention. By mid-morning you're facilitating a workshop, deploying practical examples and the engagement level that captures a room full of young learners. Post-lunch finds you conducting a motivation session, converting reluctance into action through systematic incentives and the rapport you've established. Success is quantifiable: students demonstrate mastery via Test2Pass, 100% achieve their targets, and 92–95% provide positive evaluations of your work.
Execute the established playbooks, develop trust within your cohort, and your outcomes become evidence that this approach delivers. Those who thrive in this position don't simply facilitate sessions — they set the benchmark others aim to reach. If this describes the opportunity you've been seeking, submit your application now.
What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops for K–12 students focusing on public speaking, concentration, and feedback techniques using established playbooks and practical examples
- Conducting daily motivation and coaching sessions leveraging Coachbot analytics and systematic incentive frameworks to drive 100% of students toward their learning objectives
- Administering Test2Pass evaluations to confirm students have achieved mastery of life skills, not merely participation
- Cultivating individual connections with students so your coaching converts resistance into sustained effort
- Applying generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT) on a daily basis to customize learning strategies and enhance results
- Developing curriculum or designing lesson plans — academic material and learning sequences are integrated into AI-powered applications
- Handling parents or taking responsibility for parent communications
- Evaluating homework or examinations in conventional academic disciplines
- Operating a traditional classroom environment with lectures, textbooks, and uniform progression
Support gifted K–12 students in accomplishing years of academic advancement in months and cultivating robust life skills through exceptional coaching and motivation.

- Willing to work in-person in NYC or Miami (relocation assistance available)
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
