What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating one-hour life skills sessions with K-2 learners, providing coaching and reinforcing literacy skills introduced by Reading Specialists
• Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning platforms and reach their weekly academic milestones
• Guiding emotional regulation, resilience, and problem-solving through consistent frameworks delivered with warmth
• Monitoring student development and requirements, identifying concerns proactively, and refining approaches in partnership with your team
• Building a classroom environment that balances structure, engagement, and individualized attention

Basic Requirements

• Availability for full-time, in-person work at our campus locations in Chicago, IL; Miami, FL; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Lake Forest (Orange County), CA
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any discipline
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with children ages 4–7 in educational settings, afterschool programs, coaching roles, or comparable contexts
• Strong storytelling ability and dynamic presentation skills: capable of capturing and maintaining young children's attention in group settings
• Capacity to maintain elevated standards for both personal performance and student achievement, and motivate children to reach their objectives
• Commitment to continuous improvement and receptiveness to coaching feedback
• Current legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
